About me

My name is Kenzie and I am from Squamish, British Columbia.  In May 2014 I was gently pushed towards a gentle path and told to run it.  To my surprise I finished the 6km and was not completely dead.  Two weeks later I was signed up for my first ever trail race, a 13km race winding through some of the best trails Squamish has to offer.  The rest is history.  I am now obsessed with 50km races and am in the process of training for my first 100km.  My current goal is to run Cascade Crest 100 and FatDog 120 within the next few years, and then after that, who knows!  Thats the beautiful thing about trail running.  I love everything about it, from the community, to the personal challenge, to the amazing places it carries me.  It leaves me wanting to see how much more I am capable of achieving, which seems to be anything if you set your mind to it.  Nothing is impossible if you want it badly enough.

Alongside running I am a typical Squamish local, I ride bikes, ski, and climb.  There is always something to do here and it keeps me busy.  I am also learning how to paraglide when I have the time for it.  There is an amazing feeling to flight.

Some other random facts about myself… I love dogs and I really love coffee.

I hope you join me for my journey!
